2026 Fukuoka Fireworks Festivals

Every summer, fireworks festivals are held throughout Fukuoka and the surrounding areas. We have selected some of the largest and most popular fireworks festivals that are perfect for adding to your summer travel itinerary. Please check the latest official announcements before visiting, as event details may change.

Yukata rental reservations can be very busy during fireworks festival season. We recommend booking your yukata rental in advance to secure an earlier time slot and have plenty of time to travel to the venue. As roads around most fireworks festival venues can become heavily congested and parking is often limited, we generally recommend using public transportation for a smoother and more convenient journey.

We also offer an overnight yukata rental option, allowing you to enjoy the fireworks without rushing back and return your yukata the following morning.
